In my other life I am a public school teacher and must keep up to date on current trends by taking courses in new pedogies. The week of June 30th the tables get turned and I become the student for a week so I will not be fishing during this time. However, July 5th will find me back chasing Charlie on a light tackle, run & gun charter ( my favorite kind of fishing) as the tuna season gets into high gear. If you havent tried to land a 100lb+ tuna on a spin rod...you havent fished. You will be hooked as bad as the fish once you get tight on one of this pelagic missles
The months of July and August I have plenty of great dates open and I am available on short notice for those who suddenly come down with a bad case of "Fish Fever" and have to call in sick for a day. Along with tuna , the ground fishing on the offshore ledges like Platts Bank heats up as well, as of our biggest catches of large cod and haddock occur in July & August. For those interested, in shark fishing, August and September are prime times to taking with "Jaws"
Please drop me an email or give me a call (even this week) and I will get you on the schedule for a great trip this summer.
I promise that I will take you to where the fish are and not where I wish they were. Even with the price of fuel today , thats what a good charter boat service should always do for their customers.
Tight lines
Capt. George
